Social Media Marketing Intern

Are you a student looking to get hands-on experience? In this 3 month, part-time internship (approximately 2 days per week) you will work alongside the UX/Product Manager to execute our social media marketing strategy. As a Social Media Marketing Intern, you will have a variety of challenging assignments with personalized goals and projects that track directly to the needs of the business and allow you to have a hand in key company initiatives that will have an immediate impact. You will also have the opportunity to engage in professional development webinars and participate in networking activities.

*This is a part-time, unpaid internship with potential to turn into a full-time internship with a flexible start-date.*

Free snacks. Did I mention that? Our kitchen is stocked weekly with a bunch of free snacks and coffee. Plus, we have doughnut Fridays. 

OssaLabs is a division of Perceptronics Solutions, Inc.  Founded in 2014, OssaLabs is focused on delivering advanced analysis capabilities, developed under government research contracts, to enterprise users in both the commercial and public sector. In this position you will work with a small team of professionals who are developing and marketing a cutting edge social media platform for social media monitoring.


  • Identify and execute innovative social media marketing ideas to drive brand growth and engagement

  • Community management across our Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn accounts

  • Schedule evergreen content for social media platforms

  • Monitor our social media presence, analyze, and present in weekly marketing meeting, providing actionable insight where needed

  • Research current trends, analyze, and write 4 blog posts per month synthesizing the information gained

  • Recruit candidates to contribute blog posts

  • Research and document upcoming conferences that fit our marketing platform

Requirements for a Successful Candidate:

  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master's degree in PR, marketing, business, or a similar field

  • An interest in social media marketing/monitoring or brand strategy as a career

  • Familiar with and active on various social media sites

  • Proactive, problem solver, independent, and innovative mindset

  • Quick learner with ability to multitask and thrive in an unstructured environment
